Whether your child is aged 6-10, 11-15, or 16+, we offer an unforgettable experience with quad bikes designed specifically for each age group, ensuring everyone has a blast while staying safe.

Quad trekking is the perfect outdoor activity for young adventurers, where kids get to ride quad bikes across an off-road course filled with turns, hills, and obstacles. It’s not just about riding a bike—it’s about challenging their skills, improving balance, and gaining confidence, all while having tons of fun.

At Bristol Activity Centre, we offer a guided quad biking experience that’s safe, thrilling, and exciting for kids. Our instructors are experts in ensuring that each child is equipped with the knowledge and skills to enjoy the ride to the fullest.

6-10-year-olds – 50cc quad bikes
Small and manageable for younger riders. All riders 10 and under ride on our “beginners Track” where we can ensure they enjoy their trek in a safe, enclosed and structured environment.

11-15-year-olds – 110cc quad bikes
Perfect for slightly older kids 11+ who are ready for a bit more adventure. We generally start these riders on our beginners track to ensure they can manoeuvre the quad bike, once we are confident they are in control of the bike we can then allow them to progress onto our “intermediate track”

16+-year-olds – 250cc quad bikes
For teens looking for a more challenging ride! We begin with the intermediate track to ensure the rider can manouver the quad bike in a controlled manner, before progressing onto the “Advanced track.

Safety First:
Before heading out on the course, our staff will provide a full safety briefing and ensure each child is wearing safety gear like helmets and gloves.

Guided Adventure:
Your child will be guided through the course by our experienced instructors, ensuring they learn to ride safely while enjoying the thrill of the ride.

Fun-Filled Courses:
The off-road tracks are designed for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced riders, so everyone can enjoy the tough turns, bumps, and hills of the terrain.

Individual Time & Group Fun:
Each child will get their own time to navigate the track, with opportunities for photos at the end (just ask the instructor!)

Expert Instructors:
Our team is highly trained to supervise and guide your child, ensuring they ride safely and have a fantastic time. We also have 3 tracks to fit your experience level! Please note that the 50cc quad bikes for 6-10 year olds are to be used specifically used on the beginners track.

At Bristol Activity Centre, we’re passionate about providing thrilling yet safe outdoor activities for kids. With our quad trekking experience, your child will have an unforgettable time riding quad bikes, gaining new skills, and enjoying the outdoors in the beautiful countryside.

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure on quad bikes designed just for kids! Whether you’re aged 6-10, 11-15, or 16+, our 1-hour session is the perfect way to experience the thrill of riding while staying safe and having fun.

Welcome & Safety Briefing (10 mins)
• Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff who will guide you through a safety briefing.
• We’ll introduce you to your quad bike and show you how to safely operate it.
• Safety gear (helmet and gloves) will be provided, and we’ll go over all the important rules to ensure you have fun and stay safe.

Familiarization with Your Quad Bike (10 mins)
• After the briefing, you’ll get a further briefing, and time to familiarize yourself with your size-appropriate quad bike:

o 6-10-year-olds will ride 50cc quad bikes. (Beginners track only)

o 11-15-year-olds will ride 110cc quad bikes. (beginners track followed by intermediate track (depending on the riders’ skill level)

o 16+ -year-olds will ride 250cc quad bikes. Intermediate track, followed by the Advance track (depending on the riders’ skill level)

• Our staff will help you get comfortable with the bike, learning how to accelerate, brake, and steer safely. 6-11 year olds will be assisted to begin with, our instructors have a “kill cord” to maintain control of the bikes until they are familiar with controllof the bikes.

The Quad Trekking Adventure (30 mins)
• It’s time for the off-road trek! You’ll take your quad bike for a spin around our specially designed tracks, depending on age and ability, you may progress onto the next track.
• The courses are designed to be both challenging and fun, with enough excitement for beginners and more experienced riders alike.
• Our experienced instructors will guide you throughout, ensuring you ride at your own pace and have a blast exploring the terrain.
• Whether you’re cruising along straight paths or navigating tricky sections, you’ll get a chance to practice balance, control, and speed.

Kit Down & Photo Opportunity (10 mins)
• After your adventure, you’ll finish by kitting down.
• But don’t forget to ask our instructors for a group photo! to capture all the fun moments.

✔ All quad bikes, helmets, and safety gear are provided.

✔ The session is fully supervised by our trained instructors to ensure safety and fun.

✔ Parents/guardians are welcome to watch and cheer from the sidelines.

✔ No experience is necessary! This adventure is perfect for beginners and those with more riding experience.
