We offer Airgun shooting for those of all abilities.

For complete beginners with no equipment, or experienced Air Rifle owners. We host sessions for birthdays, stag or hen events, or a family day out!

Our ‘Rental” package with tuition includes everything you need to have a go for a 1 hour session including eye protection, Airgun and pellets.

With no requirement to be a member, we also rent “shooting lanes” for those who own their own Air Rifles or Pistols.

We have a 13 lane shooting lodge with disabled access and a cafe serving hot and cold drinks, hot food and snacks.

Supplying airgun air refills, and a small range of pellets.

RENT A SHOOTING LANE

Already have your own equipment? Why not rent a shooting lane? All ‘own gunners” that are new to the range must complete an “introductory session” to ensure our safety procedures have been explained, and they are competent to shoot.

Bristol Activity Centre look forward to welcoming new and experienced air gun shooters to the range, all sessions must be pre-booked and paid for to reserve your lane.

When renting a lane, shooters are given the opportunity for the first 15 minutes of the session to set up targets if they wish.

WHEN USING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE AIRGUN OWNER TO ENSURE ALL AIR RIFLES AND PISTOLS ARE WITHIN THE UK LEGAL LIMITATIONS.

LAW

Owning an air rifle in the UK

It is required by law that you must make adequate precautions to prevent unauthorised access to an air weapon.

This can range from keeping it in a locked room, or firmly attached to a wall by a security lock, to a full gun safe. The Home Office has produced a leaflet Air Weapons: A brief guide to safety which we recommend you read as it covers the requirements in more detail. You are also more limited to where you can shoot a rifle.
