JUNIOR PAINTBALL 8-11 year olds

Paintball has evolved over recent years, gone are the days of “bruises” and painful hits.

This is because we use smaller 50 caliber paintballs which are around 1/3 the size of a standard 68 caliber Paintball.

The minimum age for our Low impact paintball sessions 8 years old, making it the perfect activity to celebrate a Paintball birthday party!

How do teams work? – All groups of 4 or more people are split into 2 teams to play against each other. This is to ensure teams are evenly mixed, and a whole group doesn’t end up on the winning, or losing side! Splitting groups into teams is part of our company policy to ensure everyone has a great day!

(trust us, from our 25+ years of experience this is the best way to make sure everyone has a great day, and you get to shoot your mates!)

If you do not want your group to be mixed with other groups, then we can offer private sessions for a minimum of 25 people (this must be added to your booking!)

Our ‘Call of Duty” and “Fortnight” inspired game maps include real tanks, helicopters, underground bunkers, and even a boat!

SESSION TIMES

Brief Itinerary:
– Arrival 10 mins before your allocated start time to “check-in” with your completed waivers

– The first 15/-30 minutes of the session will include the following: equipment issue (coveralls/goggles etc) You will then watch an essential safety briefing video, followed by a verbal briefing to re-iterated saftey points, then you will get a an gun/Equipment briefing explaining how to operate the equipment, and finally you will get a a pre-game briefing (explaining your first mission!)

– You will play a minimum of 5 games within your allocated session time. Taking short breaks in between each game. All “mission” times can vary between 5-15 minutes depending on how quickly the mission is accomplished!

– After 5 games we ensure there is 10/15 minutes towards the end of the session to “kit down”
If you have pre-ordered food this will be served within the last 15 minutes of the session.

We suggest asking parents coming to collect their children to arrive at the end of the allocated session time ie 12pm / 2pm ot 4pm, so that they are able to collect their children once they have finished thier food / cake.

Please note the timings mentioned are approximate; larger groups inherently take longer to issue equipment to and brief. We aim to fit in as many games as possible within your session in the allocated time slot – providing the group still have paintballs left for another game but always guarantee 5 games in the 2 hour time slot.

Low Impact Paintball is played on exactly the same game fields, and using the same paintball guns as standard Paintball (even the big paintballers use these smaller paintballs now!)

The paintballs travel just as fast and fly just as far as a standard Paintball, but here are the main differences when booking a Junior paintball session:

2 hour session

Not too long and not too short, our instructors ensure the group is completely entertained for a full 2 hours, so you can sit back and grab a cup of coffee!

5 Paintball games

We have carefully worked out how many games we can play in the 2 hour session, making the best use of the paintballs included in the package.

All inclusive price

In our all inclusive Packages, each young person has their own allocation of paintballs, which our staff “ration” to them throughout the session.

No Hidden costs

We ensure that there are no hidden extra costs, everything is included in the price! We even offer “Party Packages” which can include food if pre-booked.

SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT

Full head goggles

We provide Low impact paintballers with “Full head” goggles for added protection and peace of mind.

Coveralls

We provide freshly laundered all in one camouflaged coveralls in a range of sizes.

Lighter Air bottles

We use smaller air bottles for young people, which makes them more lightweight and easier to carry.

Group Instructors

Of course we would not be able to provide a great day out without our friendly, trained, and first aid qualified instructors!
They are not only there to make your groups day fun, but also to instruct each participant on how to use the equipment, and keeping safety in mind.

With Safety in mind

First Class safety

Bristol Activity Centre has a first class safety record. Parents often comment that we take safety more seriously than many other Paintball providers.

Open Sessions

We join lots of smaller groups together for maximum fun! So its no problem if you only have 2 or 3 people in your group – we will tag you on to another group.

Low Impact Paintball is for 8-11 year olds, so all parcipients will be of a similar age!

Private sessions

Most young people love joining in with other groups, but we have the option of a private session for an additional £40 *A minimum of 25 people required, this must be pre-booked in advance of the day.

Please note, your group will NOT be in a private session unless specified in writing on your booking confirmation.

Restricted Numbers

We run 3 Low Impact Paintball sessions per day, however numbers are restricted to ensure groups are a safe manageable size for our trained instructors.

So we recommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment!

FOOD OPTIONS

We offer Party packages with or without food included.

The Childs meal deals include a choice of:
– Chicken Nuggets & Chips
– Sausage & Chips
– Vegetarian Sausage & Chips
Jugs of squash are also included with the child’s meal deal, 1 jug per 4 children.

You can of course purchase food and drinks from our cafe throughout the session, but we always reccomend pre-ordering on arrival if you would like food served straight after a paintball session.
